Definition

Ansible is an open-source IT automation tool used for configuration management, application deployment, and orchestration. In HPC and data center environments, Ansible automates server provisioning, storage configuration, network setup, and software deployment across hundreds or thousands of nodes. Ansible uses agentless, push-based architecture with SSH, and playbooks are written in YAML for human readability.
